Safety and compliance

Nothing is handed over until it passes

Every installation is pressure-tested and leak-tested before we hand it over. Where a Certificate of Conformity is required, you get one.

We work to SANS 10087 and to the Pressure Equipment Regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Your insurer, your bank and your conveyancer will ask about both.

Questions

Straight answers

Here are the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp.

Do you issue gas Certificates of Conformity (CoCs)?

Yes. We inspect and test the installation and issue the certificate once it passes. If anything must be corrected first, you get it in writing and decide whether we fix it.

Do you handle gas emergencies after hours?

Yes. We take gas emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 061 039 7034 once you are safely outside.

Which areas do you cover?

Pretoria, Johannesburg and the rest of Gauteng, including outlying areas. If you are not sure whether we reach you, send your suburb on WhatsApp.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Close the supply valve at the cylinder or meter. Open the doors and windows. Do not switch anything on or off, and do not use a flame. Leave the area, then call for help.

Do you work on commercial kitchens and industrial sites as well as homes?

Yes. We work in homes, restaurant and hotel kitchens, factories, bulk LPG sites and new developments. Commercial work can be staged around your trading hours.

How do I get a price?

Call, send a WhatsApp or use the quote form. We assess the site, then send a written quote that itemises the work, the materials and the price.

Is everything tested before I use it?

Yes. Every installation is pressure-tested and leak-tested before we hand it over.

When should I move from cylinders to a bulk LPG tank?

When swapping cylinders has become a routine job, or your appliances need more gas than cylinders can supply. We look at your usage and the site, then lay out the tank, plinth and manifold with safe separation distances.
